A Haunted Picture Book, 2022. Saddle stitch stapled zine with digital illustrations.

Growing up as a teen in the 2010s, I always saw Tumblr and Deviant Art posts about Inktober but never took the initiative to try it myself.

When I made the switch from analog to digital illustration, my drawing process sped up considerably. In 2021 I decided to attempt to do 31 drawings in October and began browsing for prompts lists. I settled on Mab Graves’ Drawloween challenge because her spooky, Halloween-centric theme aligned nicely with the art I was already creating. Even though I never made it to 31 drawings, I was content to have a solid output of art. I compiled my drawings from October 2021 and 2022 together into this zine as a sampler of horror-fantasy illustrations.
