Field Guide

Multimedia artist book about a female pilot exploring a series of remote islands.

The first edition of Field Guide was a single volume made as part of the senior thesis exhibition at Scripps College in 2018. The book was displayed alongside an installation of photographs and maps. This initial version of the project was funded by a Hearst Foundation Fellowship and received the Lucia Suffel Crafts Award. The second iteration of the project was an edition of 15 books that were funded by a grant from the College Book Arts Association in 2019. The second edition included watercolor illustrations instead of photographs.
